The Line
Multiple tube form-fill-seal lanes run in parallel, feeding an inclined accumulation conveyor that buffers output before the product moves into the cooling or freeze tunnel. Buffering here matters: the filling lanes and the tunnel don't have to run at exactly the same speed if there's a buffer between them, which makes the whole line more forgiving to run.
Engineering Notes
Fill speed and tunnel dwell time have to be planned together — if the tunnel is undersized for the fill rate, product backs up at the infeed.
An accumulation table between filling and freezing buffers output so the two stages don't need to run at the exact same speed.
Tube film has to seal reliably at whatever temperature the product is filled at — cold, viscous product can make some films harder to seal cleanly than others.
Running multiple fill lanes into one shared tunnel means lane synchronization matters — an uneven feed leaves the tunnel belt partially empty and wastes freezer capacity.
Bong-Bong style tubes need a different jaw and sealing profile than round bottle-shaped tube formats — tooling is specified per tube geometry, not shared across formats.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Does the filling line include the freezing step?
We specify and integrate the conveying and accumulation equipment that feeds into the cooling or freeze tunnel — the tunnel itself is typically a specialist refrigeration system sourced and sized separately for your facility. We coordinate speed and hand-off points with your tunnel supplier during line design.
-
Can this line run other tube formats besides ice tubes?
Yes, with the appropriate jaw and sealing tooling for the tube geometry — juice tubes, yogurt tubes, and similar formats run on the same base platform. Tell us your tube dimensions and fill viscosity during specification so the tooling is sized correctly from the start.
Planning an Ice Tube or Freeze Pop Line?
Tell us your tube format, output target, and freezing setup. Our engineers will recommend the right filling, sealing, and conveying configuration — at no cost and with no commitment.
